The historic Nauvoo Pageant is held every year during the summer in beautiful Nauvoo, Illinois. The pageant is a full outdoors stage production performed each night and open free to the public. Hundreds of thousands of people from around the country come to see the pageant and visit the historic sites and homes of old Nauvoo.

The pageant celebrates and re-tells the inspiring story of the arrival Joseph Smith and the early Latter-day Saints to the area. Authentic folksongs and lively dancing are combined with Broadway style lights and music. You'll watch in awe at the remarkable performance and quality of a show that is normally reserved for great theaters and high ticket prices.

For decades the pageant has entertained and thrilled millions. In 2005 the pageant schedule was extended by a few weeks to ease the throng of visitors by giving more time to see the show. It has worked perfectly! Families can enjoy the pageant with much better seats and without the usual heavy traffic afterwards.

NOTE: Hotels fill up quick during the pageant so it is recommended that you make reservations early. For more information about hotels CLICK HERE.
